As a Cover Supervisor with GB Recruitment, you will:
Maintain a positive, proactive attitude to meet the demands of busy schools, with work calls starting from 6.30 am.
Be able to reach our partner schools in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire by 8:30 am with 30-60 minutes’ notice.
Be available to work flexibly from Monday to Friday.
Possess strong behaviour management skills, encouraging positive learning attitudes.
Have excellent communication skills
Hold a current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one through GB Recruitment (costs apply).

Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor

Supporting learning: Assisting students with any questions or clarifications related to the assigned work, although direct teaching is not usually required.
Providing feedback: Informing the regular teacher about the progress made during their absence, including any behavioural issues or concerns.
Flexible work: Cover Supervisors are often employed on a flexible basis, stepping in whenever staff absences occur.
