Registration Process
Registering with GB is a simple process involving the completion of relevant paperwork prior to an informal interview in which our friendly consultant will discuss your requirements and establish your suitability for various positions.
During your initial conversation with a consultant, you will be asked to bring in relevant documentation for Right to Work and Safeguarding purposes which will be verified by the consultant. Once the necessary Right to Work Checks, DBS clearance is met along with suitable references have been returned, we will be in a position to find placements to suit your needs.
Our compliance processes are governed by current DfE and Government legislation and we are audited by the REC in line with their auditing policy to ensure that we hold high levels of safeguarding.
Teacher Qualifications
- Degree and PGCE
- Bachelor of Education
- Certificate in Education
- BA (Hons) Primary Education
- Degree & Graduate Teacher Programme Certificate
- Degree & School Direct Certificate
- QTS Certificate (if applicable)
- Induction Certificate (if applicable)
- QTLS Certificate & Membership of the SET
- OTT Certificates (which must be verified by NARIC)
- Current Child Protection Certificate – Level 1
Teaching Assistant Qualifications
- Certificate in Childcare & Education
- Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- Early Years Qualification
- NNEB
- BTEC (Level 3)
- NVQ (Level 3)
- NCFE (Level 3)
- CACHE (Level 3)
- BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies
- Equivalent to the above qualifications
- Current Child Protection Certificate – Level 1
Identification
- Passport
- Driving Licence
- Birth Certificate (Preferably the Long Version)
- Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
- Proof of Address — Utility Bill/Bank, Statement (Less than 3 months old) or a Current Council Tax Bill / P60 (please note that mobile phone bills cannot be accepted)
- Proof of National Insurance Number
- Additional documents in line with current Home Office guidance
Safeguarding
- A minimum of 2 employment referees
- Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Certificate assigned to the update service (if applicable a new DBS can be processed through us at registration)
